Put together a birthday slideshow with photos from all your friends

For Lea’s 30th, everyone has photos of her, but they are sitting in ten different phones. Here is how to gather them without her knowing, and make them the highlight of the evening.

Create the album at the right time

A Kliche album erases itself 3 days after it was created. Create it one or two days before the party: everyone has time to send their photos, and the album is still there on the night, with a little margin for everyone to download their favourites.

Collect the photos in secret

1. Send the invitation link to the friends, not to the birthday person: only people with the link can see the album.
2. Everyone sends their photos from their phone with their QR code, iPhone or Android, in original quality.
3. Old printed photos too: take a photo of them or scan them, and they go in like the others.
4. Nudge the latecomers: the “Album ready” page shows who has not sent anything yet.

On the day, on the TV

Open the album on the TV or on the computer plugged into it and switch to TV mode: the photo fills the screen, and the slideshow plays them by itself. The upload QR stays in a corner, so photos taken during the party are added live.

Friends who cannot make it

Those far away open the same link from home. They see the same photo at the same time, with everyone’s cursor, and can talk through the voice call built into the album. We go into this in watch photos together, each from home.

A gift that lasts

The recap puts the best photos together in a short vertical film with music, made on your device: something to send to the birthday person the next day.
