Flatshare
Look back at the flatshare photos with all your flatmates, before handing back the keys
Three years of sharing a flat: Sunday dinners, the housewarming, the sofa rescued from the pavement. The lease is ending, the boxes are piling up, and the photos are spread across the phones of everyone who lived there. Here is how to turn them into one last evening.
One album for the whole story of the flat
Create an album and send the link to the flat’s group chat, former flatmates included. Nobody needs an account or an app: everyone opens the link, picks a first name and comes in. An album holds up to 10 people during the beta.
Choose from years of photos
An album holds up to 700 photos and 3 GB. For years of flatsharing, it is a chance to pick the best: everyone sends their favourite photos from their phone, with their QR code, in original quality. The “Album ready” page shows who has not sent anything yet.
One last evening in the living room
While the TV is still out of its box, open the album on it in TV mode and start the slideshow. The Day and Person filters bring back the housewarming or one flatmate’s photos without scrolling through everything.
Former flatmates, from home
Those who have already moved out open the same link from home. They see the same photo at the same time, with everyone’s cursor, and talk with you through the voice call built into the album, or your usual Discord, Meet or WhatsApp call.
Keep the flat as a memory
The album erases itself 3 days after it was created. Before then, everyone downloads the photos they want, as a single ZIP file in original quality. The recap turns them into a short film with music, ready for the next flatmates’ reunion: see make a souvenir video with music.
