Kliche or an iCloud Shared Album for photos with friends?

With iOS 27, iCloud Shared Albums open up to friends without an iPhone and move to full resolution. They also gain emoji reactions and an activity log. They remain a great place to keep a group’s photos. Kliche aims at another moment: getting together to watch them.

iCloud information checked on on Apple’s Shared Albums help page and its limits page. iOS 27 additions per MacRumors.

Keep iCloud if…

you want an album that lasts, most of the group is on iPhone, or there are many of you: up to 100 participants.

Open a Kliche album if…

you want a real viewing: everyone in front of the same photo at the same moment, each from home or in front of the TV, with everyone’s cursors and a built-in call. Then nothing lingers online: the album is erased after 3 days.

Both together: watch the photos in Kliche on the evening you get back, then file your favourites in your library or an iCloud album.

Try Kliche for your next photo night.

One album, one link, and you watch together.
