Gather the whole group’s festival photos and watch them together

Guide · 4 min read

Three days of gigs, camping and flat batteries. Everyone has photos of the main stage, the campsite at dawn and the crowd during the last song. Back home, here is how to bring it all together and relive the weekend as a group.

Wait until you are home to create the album

At a festival, the network is often overloaded and battery is precious: keep your photos on your phone. A Kliche album erases itself 3 days after it was created; create it on the evening you get back, when everyone has Wi-Fi and a charger again.

Everyone sends their photos

Send the link to the group: your friends open it, pick a first name and come in, with no account and no app. Everyone sends their photos with their QR code, iPhone or Android, in original quality; HEIC photos from the iPhone are converted to high-quality JPEG. The “Album ready” page shows who has not sent anything yet.

Relive the weekend, day by day

The Day filter separates Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and the Person filter finds each friend’s photos. During the session, the photo changes for everyone at the same time, and everyone sees where the others are pointing thanks to the coloured cursors: handy for showing who is where in the crowd.

Each at home, all together

After a festival, the group often heads back to different towns. No need to meet up: everyone opens the link from home, and you talk through the voice call built into the album, or your usual Discord, Meet or WhatsApp call. The guide: watch photos together, each from home.

The festival film

The recap puts the group’s best photos together in a short vertical film with music, made on your device, to share in the group chat. Before the album erases itself, everyone downloads the photos they want, as a single ZIP file in original quality. The guide: make a souvenir video with music.

For the next festival: the Crew keeps a shared space for your friends, beyond a single album.

The festival, to relive together.

One album, one QR code per person, and the film of the weekend.

Frequently asked questions

Should we send the photos during the festival?

No. Create the album once you are home: it erases itself 3 days after it was created, and everyone sends their photos from home.

Is the GPS position of the photos shared?

No. The precise position is removed from the file before upload; only an approximate town is used for the filters and the map.

How many people can take part?

Up to 10 people per album during the beta.
