Study abroad
Look back at your Erasmus photos with friends in several countries
The semester is over: Lucia is back in Madrid, Jakub in Kraków, Inês in Porto, and you in Lyon. The photos are spread across all those phones, and the group never took the time to look at them together. Here is how to relive the semester, from afar.
One album for the whole group
Create an album named after the semester and send the link to the group. Your friends have no account to create: they open the link, pick a first name and come in. Nothing to install either, it all happens in the browser, on iPhone and Android alike. Kliche is available in English and French.
Everyone adds their photos
Each member sends their photos with their QR code, in original quality: the welcome party, the weekend in Lisbon, the last night out. Only the precise GPS position and device details are removed. The “Album ready” page shows who has not sent anything yet.
Find a time across time zones
Within Europe, there is an hour or two of difference at most: a weekday evening is enough. If someone went back to Montreal and someone else to Seoul, aim for a weekend, morning for one and evening for the other. Set the time in the group as soon as the album is created: it erases itself 3 days later.
Watch together, each from home
During the session, the photo changes for everyone at the same time, and everyone sees where the others are pointing thanks to coloured cursors. To talk, the album has a built-in voice call, or a button that opens your usual Discord, Meet or WhatsApp call. The Place, Day and Person filters let you replay “the trip to Prague” without scrolling through the whole semester, and the map shows where each photo was taken.
Keep the semester
Before the album erases itself, everyone downloads the photos they want, as a single ZIP file in original quality. The recap turns them into a short film with music to share with the group.
